Tug 40 ( 5,85m)( 19 feet 2inch)

The Tug 40 is a 19-foot mono hull, its the only Tug in the range that does not incorporate a Cathedral hull. The hull has a nice medium to deep V that cuts the chop with ease. This boat has offshore capabilities, but I do not advocate launching this boat in hard core surf conditions. The hull design is a derivative of the very famous American Boston Whaler.

Depending on your choice or requirements the boat can be fitted with a single motor or 2 motors (I personally recommend a single motor for this build). The cap incorporates a casting deck with an anchor hatch and 2 storage hatches, it also incorporates a mounting block for a sneaker motor. The aft of the boat features an interactive live bait well on port side incorporated in the hull. The star board side incorporates a battery hatch including a glassed in battery tray. This hatch incorporates a 115mm pipe connecting the centre console through which all control cables, electric cables and fuel lines run. there is also a conduit leading to the underside of the casting deck should one want to run cables neatly under the deck.

The boat is built in a semi modular way, so there are various deck layouts in terms of centre console options and seating and storage arrangements. The boat can be fitted with a t-top over the console or just the conventional windscreen and stainless grab bar. If you want one boat with a lot of crossover options then this boat must be a consideration.

If you looking for a hull that’s comfortable, light for its size, stable, has a soft dry ride and would like to discuss your requirements, please kindly contact me or call one of our agents.

I have completed the hull mold and the cap mold. Oncethe first boat is produced in a few weeks I will release technical data , pictures, a video and pricing.
